The Dahn Foundation

Dahn Foundation (DF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. DF’s mission is to share the principles and tools of Brain Education System Training (BEST) wellbeing programs to enhance the Health, happiness (Smile) and peace (HSP) of individuals, families, groups and communities. DF especially seeks out those who are limited socially, economically or physically, or do not have access to similar programs.

How did Dahn Foundation get started?

Dahn Foundation was founded by Dahn Yoga and Health Centers Inc, an organization with 120 locations and a 10 year history in the United States, and dedicated to spreading the spirit of HSP (Health, Smile, Peace). BEST programs, including Dahn Yoga and DahnMuDo are becoming widely known in Canada, Japan, UK, Russia and have a 30 year history in South Korea.

Dahn Foundation was inspired by the founder of BEST programs, Ilchi Lee, who started 30 years ago, teaching one man in a park in South Korea. He recovered his health after suffering from a stroke, through Ilchi Lee’s guidance of basic stretching and breathing exercises. Even though his first class consisted of one person, he taught that person as if he represented the whole of humanity. Dahn Foundation’s mission is to embrace and ignite this spirit, inspiring a new level of dedication and passion in all. Learn more about Ilchi Lee at www.ilchi.com.

It is our hope that through Dahn Foundation, the effects of Health, happiness (Smile) and Peace (HSP) become a natural part of our society and culture. We believe it is every human being’s right to choose to become healthier, happier and more peaceful. Dahn Foundation offers opportunities to individuals to make that choice, regardless of their health or socioeconomic conditions.

What is Brain Education System Training (BEST)?

And lastly, health and happiness by producing calm and centered feelings that allow the brain to create peaceful thoughts (HSP).
